“It’s me. Hi, I’m the problem, it’s me.”
I stopped blogging.

If you were ever following my blog before, you may have wondered if I dropped off the planet…
Or if you were in Samara, you may have seen how life was unfolding…
The last thing you knew I was living beach-front in Samara, Costa Rica with my son Skyler, his Dad Glenn, and our two dogs Gizmo and Buttercup, while airbnbing the extra space and doing massages beachfront…and I was about to do a cleanse that the fabulous Kyle Mitri prepared for me, the cleanse was actually much more pleasant than I ever expected it to be. It was so colorful, vivid and alive…I’m sure somewhere there are pictures and videos I’ll try and find. I’m pretty sure we did a whole interview and it didn’t record, but maybe I can find pieces. Google has it all, so I’ll upload some of these…
I may need to update a plug in or something, as I cannot see where I’m supposed to insert these photos and videos…You’ll have to bear with me…things have changed a bit over the years.

Ohh, there we go…

Juicing is so colorful

According to my last blog post I was about to do a cleanse and I do recall, the cleanse was great, I think I expected it to be more difficult and uncomfortable overall, and it wasn’t because of how nicely the juices were spaced out, it seemed to go by quickly. Although I think I expected my body to do more of a mass exodus …and then, life, well, it happened, as it does… and not how I had ever planned and it was a time in my life that was quite challenging…and at least for me during challenging times….I kinda want to retreat into the shadows a bit. I really didn’t feel like being social.

Interestingly enough, writing is how I express, how I process, get clarity, deal with my emotions, and check in with myself.
So blogging is actually therapeutic, however, I had to take a break. I, surprisingly enough… had people approaching me that recognized me from reading my blog, and it was around this time I started cutting back on all social media…life felt too intense for the public eye.

So much has changed over the years. A friend of mine recently said they stumbled upon my blog…I had totally forgotten about this and wasn’t even sure it was still visible. I couldn’t even access it for a long time…actually, that was part of the issue too, but that’s a story for another day. My friend said….”what happens after part 1? You left everyone hanging…”
So I reread my entry and realized…I did, totally leave people hanging….there is soo much more to the story. I even had saved drafts in the blog that I never published.

I suppose it’s time my words see the light of day again. I will add pictures when I can figure out where that feature is.
Sending so much love to you and yours.

Pura Vida,

Cheryl
